Just found out
I did not get the promotion. Kind of disappointing, since I have worked on creating this position for the past two years. For a brief moment, I actually considered looking for a job outside of the company. Then I remembered how great it is to work here and the insurance really rocks/ See what happens when I actually show up to work on a Friday, should have slept in.

I'M NOT A LOSER! YOU'RE THE LOSER! Actually spoke to someone in that department since that post and he said there is another position opening soon and I should be up for it.
That just wasn't meant for you. Something bigger and better is in your future (didn't know I could see into the future, did ya? DID YA??)
You could always come work in a liquor store with me.
I could totally do that, then I could eat purple castle every day
